• Hello everyone,

I am having a heck of a time with my header, in WordPress Twenty Ten. I have designed my own custom header to upload. I have made sure my header is 940 x 198 size, as requested by the twenty ten theme. I have tried uploading the header in different image formats such as jpeg, png, png transparent, bmp. and gif.

Nothing works. Nothing shows up after I click the upload button. I don’t have a clue what to try next. Perhaps, there will be other WordPress users here who know a whole lot more than I do, that could give me some ideas to try. I would so appreciate it!

  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thanks so much for answering. I am not quite understanding what you suggested. I didn’t upload the newest wordpress version through ftp, I just updated through the automatic update function in WordPress, so I don’t have the newest version of WordPress on my computer to re-upload files and folders.
Are you saying I should download the newest version to my computer and then replace the files and folders on my server, with the new files and folders I just downloaded to my computer, except for the wp-content folder?

yes upload all files and folders from a fresh download except wp-content and wp-config.php the reason for doing this is that there may be a corrupted file causing the problem.
