WordPress Template + Content Disappeared!!

    Please can someone help me, my website has been down 2 days and I only noticed today (my mistake as we have lots of websites at the company I work for). All our content and our template has just been removed, I logged into the Admin panel and there is only old content there, I don’t understand how this has happened.

    I need to get the site back up and normal because it is for my business, it is not the Hosting as I have contacted them for help.

    Do you have a backup of the old content? Have you contacted your host to see if they have any logs of what may have happened? Maybe there are post revisions you can restore to – here’s a youtube video I found which goes through restoring from a revision.

    I have contacted the host and they basically said I must have made some changes and there is no way the content would just dissapear if I hadn’t made any changes, which I hadn’t. They suggested:

    We changed our hosting from them to somewhere else (this did not happen), they suggested we had the domain pointed elsewhere for a while and then changed the DNS or changed the nameservers on the domain back.

    I am trying to locate a backup of the old content but I just don’t know how this has happened

    As all the content is gone, it doesn’t show all the pages we had on there so there are no revisions for me to restore back to
