• I’m curious to learn how to increase my “upload” limit. I’m currently running WordPress locally (not hosting it) in a type of dev environment with no communication to the outside interwebs. I’m running MAMP but I could just as easily, and do often times, run wordpress on top of LAMP guest session on Virtual Box.

I’ve done some research and I’ve found all the forum threads about this where members have posted links to other forum threads as if they are a solution – but if you click through and read that linked-to thread, plenty of individuals claim those solutions do not work.

I’ve tried adding those two lines of code to my htaccess file – does not work. I do not have a php-ini file anywhere…

Just curious if there are any other work arounds – TYIA

  • you have a php.ini file.

You should have a few of them….
    /Applications/MAMP/conf/php4/php.ini
    /Applications/MAMP/conf/php5/php.ini

    are places to look

php.ini files are needed for php
