WordPress Instillation Error

    So I attempted a manual install of wordpress (unfortunately, I didn’t realize the files I was working with were the old version until it was too late, so its 2.9.2)

    I thought I did it right, but here is the error I get.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /homepages/14/d267669996/htdocs/wp/wp-config.php on line 31

    Replied by Twitter, but to elaborate:

    This is usually caused by a file corruption or something going weird with the install. Download a fresh copy of WP (may as well grab 3.0 😉 yeah?) and try that.

    Or … what’s on line 31 of wp-config.php? If you can post the whole wp-config (editing your passwords and hash info o’course), it could be as simple as an extra ; out there.
