WordPress installation errors

Hello All,

Need some help installing WordPress. I created the database in MYSQL, uploaded all the files via FTP etc. I have done nothing with MYPHPADMIN. I renamed the file wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php and here is the error I get “Sorry, I need a wp-config-sample.php file to work from. Please re-upload this file from your WordPress installation” When I reactivate that file, it says wp-config.php cannot be found. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
