WordPress Install Dissapears…

    For about ten minutes this morning my wordpress website vanished, going to its domain name resulted in a blank page with no code upon source view and wp-admin returned nothing in a similar fashion.

    Upon restarting the apache process on the server the frontpage of my website was visible as were the rest of the blogs pages, however I could still not gain access to wp-admin.

    While top revealed that the server load was 1.06 0.52 0.23. Even if the server been hit by a large amount of traffic in a short period of time then how come after restarting the apache process was the website available but not the wp-admin?

    Could plugins hooked into the wp-cron have caused this?

    Hi,

    Check with these options:

    – Disable all the plugins via FTP to your blog
    – Upgrade your wordpress to the latest version
    – Remove all unwanted code from htaccess
