WordPress Email Problem

Hi there,

I just started a wordpress blog and I have some email problems.
Whenever someone registers or clicks ‘forgot password’ they never receive the mail.
My website does NOT support email capabilities and I think thats the problem.

So is there a way to use an email like this : name@hotmail.com instead of wordpress@yourdomain.com as my website does not allow email capabilities? I can only find plugins to change from wordpress@yourdomain.com to admin@yourdomain.com .
