WordPress Database Error: Access Denied | WordPress.org

All I have been successfully running my family blog with WP v 1.5 for several years.

Last week when attempting to make a new post to my site, I got the following error stating that access was denied to my database and that header info could not be modified.

Here is a screen shot:

I haven’t touched these *.php files in months. I don’t know how this became corrupt\non functional.

If your site is http://ryanandjennimcintire.com/ then it has been hacked. See:

Since you can’t restore your backed up database to the current version of WordPress, you’ll need to do it to the same old version and then upgrade immediately. Your very old version of WordPress is vulnerable to many hacks.

BTW, the hack may be in your database as well, so that will need to be checked or a non-hacked backup copy (if you have one) used instead.
