WordPress Arabic
-
Hi,
I’m trying to download the Arabic version of WordPress, and have been following tutorials both in the Codex and on the wembaster’s site, both of which were clear but for some reason I failed in my installation/configuration.
Does anyone know why the config.php file appears in weird symbols after I unzip the downloaded “WordPress Arabic” file? I followed the correct model for installing wordpress manually (I did it before,) but when it comes to installing the Arabic version of wordpress, I get a bunch of symbols which my computer doesn’t recognize. And when I upload it, I can’t access the site because of a “database error.”
Does anyone here have any good experiences with installing wordpress Arabic? If so, please explain how this is possible, and what I can do to change it. I want everything on the site to appear in Arabic, including things like “category, pages, archives,” since I’m targeting an audience who don’t speak any English at all.
Plugins don’t help much, because translating is not what I’m trying to do here. Some of them are relevant but incredibly frusterating to work with, so I thought wordpress Arabic would be the best and safest solution. Please help if you can.
