WordPress Already Installed when it isn’t
-
I had previously put v 2.0.1 in my hosting environment but hadn’t gone through the install wizard in wp-admin. I deleted all the old files and uploaded v 2.5.1. I made sure the DSN connection was correct. I went to the wp-admin directory and filled out the Blog Name and email address and hit Install WordPress. I then got the following error:
You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.
I went to my phpMyAdmin and dropped all the tables in the database. Repeated the above steps and got the same error. I tried completely deleting the database and reinstalling it. Got the same error.
Please help. The blog can be viewed at blog.jadeinc.com.
Thanks!
