• I recently installed and uninstalled two WordPress plugins that weren’t compatible with my design/theme. Uninstalling reversed some of the damage. Yet now, when I log in and view my blog, the WordPress Admin Navigation Menu is shifted down below the grey bar at the top and overlapping on my blog content. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

  • Delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders on your server. Download a fresh copy of wp and upload those folders to the server. DO NOT delete wp-content.

So I just tried this and it didn’t work. Any more suggestions?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
