Woocommerce – Max Cart Quantities

    Is there a way to only allow a maximum quantity of items into a Woocommerce cart? I am not referring to “Per Product” which there are many plugins for but the total number of allowed items into the cart.

    I use woocommerce as a booking/hire function and want to set a limit of 8 items allowed into the cart.

    Any ingenious ideas?
