Checkout layout change
I constantly have customers telling me the checkout does not work, but I think it is more to do with the layout when using a tablet or mobile.
On a PC (wide screen)layout I have two columns
Left column which you read first has
Your Order
Product & Total
Subtotal
TotalPayment methods
Check box for terms & conditions
Complete entryThen on the right side all the registration info
Billing details
Additional infoOn a PC/larger screen, because you see both left and column at the same time, it is easier to make sense of the whole process
However, on smaller screens there is only one column and as you can see from above, customers are asked to “complete” the order, beffore they have scrolled down further to add billing info. A lot of my customers seem to get stuck at this point because they don’t scroll down, or don’t think they need to scroll down and keep receiving an error but don’t know why.
Terms & Conditions check box & “Complete order” button on the right side …AFTER everything has been shown that needs completing. It is bonkers the way it is.
I am loosing customers because of this
