If someone wants to post anon then they can surely ? You could edit the comments template and add something like
“To preserve your anonymity, use the Name “Bob” and the email address “me@privacy.net” instead of your real details.
Or edit the form so there no fields for them to fill in except the comment. Just make the name/email inputs hidden.

cant you edit the choices there to allow people to comment w/o logging in or leaving email and name?
Well, you should be able to untick the box labeled “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail”
That won’t make the boxes on the form disappear, though.
so is this possible or not? does the commenter have to log in all the time. They just can’t write their name or something and post?
