Win7 & WP

Has anyone had any problems with Windows 7. I set up a website for a fellow musician and he cannot access the Widgets (using Startbox framework) .. they won’t open for him. He tried on his old laptop running an older OS and it worked fine. I run W7 and have no problems … any helpful clues out there??
