Widget ‘Recent Post with thumbnails

    Hello fellow WP users,

    I hope someone can help me with the following.
    In the sidebar of our website I am using a widget called: Recent Post with thumbnails. The Post is made in a Suite Origin Page Builder.
    What I want is for the post image (not a thumbnail) to show up in the widget in the sidebar. In the widget settings this seems to be possible and I think I clicked all the right boxes for the image that is in the post to shop up here yet it does not……
    Can anyone help me resolve this? Or recommend another widget?

    Did you add featured image in the post?

    when I do that I cannot control how that image appears in the post.
    I was hoping that this box would help:
    Try to use the post’s first image if post has no featured image?

    but the first image does not show up…
