Widget problem

    Hey guys,

    Having a problem editing my widgets where I am unable to add, edit or remove any widget apart from comments and search. Have done a bit of searching and have noticed that others are facing this issue. Tried the fix of going back to an original theme and that didn’t resolve it.

    Is there anyway to reset it?

    what browser do you use to edit your WP back end?
    IE is bad for editing anything.
    Firefox or I use Google Chrome to edit everything.

    Hi,

    It should be due to theme problem you are not able to add widgets. Please go to the default wordpress theme and have a check with widgets.

    Thanks for the response Shane,

    I have tried revereting to the default wordpress theme and the issue is still there, unable to add/edit/remove the 4 widgets (Links, Archive, Recent Posts)

    Any other suggestions?

    I still haven’t had a resolution to this.

    Should I back up my entire blog then re-install wordpress? I think that’s the only way I can get it to work.
