Widget Area not remembering my widgets.

Hi, I cannot get widgets to work on my theme, I have tested to make sure the widget work with other themes and that I am pressing save when I select the widget, after i navigate away from the widget page and come back again the primary widget area is empty again. Now I have run through a lot of tutorials to try and figure this out which is why my functions/sidebar.php has got a little crazy but here they are: http://pastebin.com/JCqipzBL

Any help on this would be really great as I have spent a day trying to figure it out…
