Why Can’t WordPress Get Trackbacks Right?

    When I was using WordPress 1.2 I couldn’t get trackbacks to work properly. I could send them, but not recieve them. So I had to resort to HaloScan.

    Then I upgraded to a nighly release of 1.5. Trackbacks worked.

    When 1.5 was released, I upgraded again. Now it seems that I can receive trackbacks, but not send them. My trackbacks don’t seem to appear on the pages I’m attempting to trackback to. I’ve noticed this since upgrading to the official release.

    Why can’t WordPress get trackbacks right?
