Whitespace under image problem

Love the theme “5 stars” — however assistance is needed: I have validated this is not an image issue and all attempts to address this with addition css has failed me @no padding, etc. I want a seamless image just above menu bar with minimal whitespace. I am rotating images in that space as well.
