Where to put CSS

Hi,
I just want to change the font and alignment of the captions in the lightbox. No problem making the changes to Baseline and Default style.css files.

I tried pasting the changes in my child theme css, so it would still be there when Simple Lightbox gets updated, but it appears that the plugin styles load after my theme styles so that doesn’t work.

Is there someplace I should make the modification so they will not get lost when the plugin updates?
