1. When someone subscribes to my website via the popup, what list are they placed on? – It all depends on which destination for subscription you had chosen. For example, if you chosen “Subscribe to WordPress” – to find your subscribers go to Users tab on the left navigation menu of WordPress. 2. Will they receive the same update as my subscribers who signed up via Jetpack? – Idea of Popup plugin is to collect subscribers. And sending the emails about the updates make plugins destined for mailings.
3. I have the popup set to “Subscribe to WordPress,” but I don’t see my test e-mail address showing up on my list of WordPress subscribers. – Please tell me where exactly you check the subscribers? As I said before, to find your subscribers go to Users tab on the left navigation menu of WordPress.
Maybe you didn’t confirm the subscription? And consequently you are not in the list of subscribers.
