Where do i insert the code for favourite posts?

    I’m useless at wordpress, I just started a blog yesterday and all this code stuff is driving me nuts.

    Where do you put the code in? The installation on this widget says
    “Place <?php if (function_exists(‘wpfp_link’)) { wpfp_link(); } ?> in your single.php or page.php template file. Then favorite this post link will appear in all posts.”

    But where is the single.php or page.php template file for me to add this into?

    I can’t find it on the dashboard.
