I was just wondering where the images I upload are stored. First I uploaded them in my media library but didn’t manage to import them into the photo gallery plug-in properly. I would click on “import from media library” then select the images but it didn’t work. The files showed up in the gallery but the file size was 0 and no actual image would show. So I uploaded them again directly through the “Add Images” button. That worked. Now my question is, where are these images stored? the images don’t show up in my Media Library.

    The “Images directory” says: wp-content/uploads
Not sure how I get there, or where exactly that is.

The Media Library is connected to an amazon server. Where are the images stored I upload through the plug in?

    Thanks,
    Lisa

    Hi,

Please note that after uploading the images, they are being created in the three folders /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/- images with modified dimensions, /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/.original – the original image and /wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/thumb – images with Thumnail dimensions.

There is also a separate folder for images uploaded from the Media Library in the Uploads folder. It works same as it is in the above described.

You can get access to these files using FTP.

Thank you! Have a nice day!
