What am I doing wrong?

I’m trying to change the link “portfolio” in my sites url. So I installed your plugin. But I dont get what I am suppose to do.
it look like this in the settings:
portfolio http://mysite.com/portfolio /%postname%/
=> so i thought that if i added “archive” instead of postname.. my url would be
http://mysite.com/archive insted of http://mysite.com/portfolio – but instead I get a bad request.what am i doing wrong?
