Weird Database Error

    Hi, i am using version 1.5.2 and when i try to see the RSS2 feed of the comments page of any post on my blog i’m getting an error page and when i check the page source it’s sayin’ ;

    class='wpdberror'><strong>WordPress database error:</strong> [Unknown column 'comment_post_id' in 'on clause']

    i deleted my blog and installed a fresh 1.5.2 but i am still getting the same error although i didnt changed anything and just added only one post to my fresh install.

    i think there is something with my database but i can’t figure it out and i cant ask help from my host. Please help me if you can, this problem is driving me insane here 🙁

    Check if your page is valid XHTMl and if you have a valid RSS feed

    i solved the problem but i am not very sure that the way i used is a good practice, anyway i will explain what i did ;

    i checked my mySQL tables and on the comments table i saw that there is no comment_post_id but there was comment_post_ID and i edited the queries in the wp-commentsrss2.php by modifying id‘s to ID‘s and now they’re working correctly.

    MySQL table names shouldn’t be case sensitive.

    Care to share your version of MySQL and PHP and what OS your server is running?

    My server is running on ;

    Debian Unix 2.6.10
    Apache Web Server 1.3.33
    PHP Version 4.3.10
    MySQL Client API version 4.0.23

    Er, MySQL column names shouldn’t be case sensitive that I know of.

    Anyway, your versions seem fine to me. That’s really odd.
