I have just done a test with the latest version of WordPress, WooCommerce and this addon. Everything works fine.
Are you sure that your WooCommerce and everything is upto date?
Thanks for your prompt reply.
It’s working ok now because my host did a restore back to before the problem arose and with Woocommerce 2.4.11.
The problem seemed to arise when I updated to the latest version of Woocommerce 2.4.12.
I’m using the latest version of WP – 4.4.
You haven’t done any updates for 5 months so is your plugin compatible with the latest Woocommerce version 2.4.12?
I’m very reluctant to update to Woocommerce 2.4.12 in case it causes the same problem.
Any thoughts?
Kind regards
Kara
I just released an updated version just now. However, I tested both the new and old version of the extension with the LATEST version of WooCommerce. So this extension is definitely working.
There were a lot of WP4.4 related issue in WooCommerce. Just wait for them to sort it all out then upgrade everything in a few days time.
Hi there
Thank you once again for your very prompt response and solution to my problem. I am very impressed with your excellent support as well as your great plugin.
I’ll heed your advice and wait for Woocommerce/WP updates.
Have a great holiday season.
Kindest regards
Kara – greetings from OZ (Australia)
I just added SSL to my site and got the same symptom. I am running WP 4.5.2 and Woo Commerce 2.5.5. At present, I cannot run my site with the WooCommerce PayPal Pro plug-in active; moreover, if I activate it, I can no longer access the admin dashboard to deactivate it.
Any advice?
I am experiencing the same symptom. I just enabled SSL on my site, and it seems incompatible with WooCommerce PayPal Pro. I have v1.7 of this plug-in, version 2.5.5 of WooCommerce, and WP 4.5.2.
The error message is Fatal error: Class ‘WC_Payment_Gateway’ not found in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas08_data03/96/3209096/html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-paypal-pro-payment-gateway/woo-paypal-pro-gateway-class.php on line 3
This also locks me out of the Admin panel, and I have to call GoDaddy to turn off all of the plug-ins so that I can restore service.
Any thoughts?
I have a very similar issue to this. My error is Fatal error: Class ‘WC_Payment_Gateway’ not found in /home/vegancard/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-paypal-pro-payment-gateway/woo-paypal-pro-gateway-class.php on line 3.
I was having an awful time with Woocommerce so decided to try Paypal Simple instead. Now I have this error and I can’t deactivate or delete and plugins. I can’t even log out of my admin page.
Please help, this has been driving me crazy all weekend and I’m desperate to get my payment gateway working.
