It all seems to display correctly for me (Firefox .9/Win).
No, CSS does by no means work the same on all browsers. Many browsers render things differently, and that is part of what makes CSS difficult.
CSS does, however, render faster, save bandwidth, improve usability, ease updating, increase branding and much more. Some day, when all browsers follow standards, it will look the same in every browser, until them, there are some minor and major differences.
One big and overlooked factor with CSS is browser size and monitor resolution. But, before you start debugging your CSS, you may want to get your XHTML valid: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.elmsblog.com%2F and get your CSS valid: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.elmsblog.com%2Fwp-layout.css&usermedium=all .
And that didn’t help? Well, at least it will be easier to fix. I’ll look at it on a PC later. You’re probably at the mercy of your readers’ monitor resolution. Any CSS experts out there?
I’m on a Win XP machine w/ both IE & FF… it looks fine to me. Have those that are having probs with it, do a hard refresh (Ctrl-F5 or Ctrl-R) and/or clear out their cache. It could be that it’s using some cached code that’s causing this problem.

I’m on a mac too but still using the old IE5. That’s what they give me here at work. Couldn’t believe it, man they’re years behind!
Your posts are overlapping the right hand white outline. Everything else looks good to me.

Yeah, it’s looking fine on a PC, I think Win 98 and IE 5.5. So it must be isolated to Mac IE ::shudder:: . A little background, Mac IE was discontinued three years ago and support was officially ended last year. I deleted my Mac IE a long time ago. I suggest you launch a campaign to switch your Mac IE users to FireFox ( http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ ). They’ll like it a lot better than Mac IE.
I think maybe the MSN explorer (not ie) is screwing it up. Anyone have that? I know 1 commenter on my site has that on Win. 98. Are browsers like that screwy somehow?
