I have had great luck with a Windows program called Visual Watermark. I previously used the watermark tool in Nextgen Gallery, but didn’t scale with the amount of images I was processing.
Hope this helps.
I don’t have any experience with any watermarking plugins, so I can’t say for sure, but I would just find one that has the functionality you need, and try it on a couple images. Make sure you back up your /uploads/ folder first, as it seems most of them do not keep the original images intact, but instead they overwrite the original. If you find one that you like, but it doesn’t seem that the images are optimized (check them with Google Pagespeed or something like that), let me know and I can do more investigating.
Thanks for the replay. I will try some and will let you know.
I’ll second this. Currently choosing and testing available plugins for watermarks, and using EWWWIO as well. Will share the results of my tests in few days.
Thanks,
I am looking forward to hear for your test results. I still have some work to do until I implement a watermark plugin.
ikivanov, working on it right now, the result will be ready by tomorrow. Stay tuned)
I think it will be great if you add some automatic watermark creating feature, like
