WARNING – SPAM BOT Hack!

Seems as if several users are experiencing a compromise with Contact Form 7. Receiving numerous (close to hundreds a week), bot emails from random series of numbers (From: 590a1929ea348) and generic email addresses (<randomname@gmail.com>) for as far back as last month. This is a relatively recent concern and one of which the developer has yet to responded adequately to yet. CF7 has been one of my go-to’s for years but now seems as if bots have gotten wiser the the developers desire to update the security. This is my last attempt to make the issue known on the boards, but as of today I am going to replace this plugin with something more reliable. I hope that if anyone (including you Takayuki Miyoshi) finds a solution that it’s posted back here on the boards for future reference. In the meantime, good luck all and hope you find a worthy alternative to this once reliable plugin.
