  • You’ve got some stray characters in your wp-config file. Maybe you have some improperly commented text or something. If you used a word processor to edit the file you may have some invisible control characters in there too. What did you use to edit the file?

    You can post the wp-config if you want, just be sure to remove your real login information.

    I used dreamweaver CS3

    I will check there though all that I modified in the config.php
    I have an idea that I may have left some ” ” marks where I changed username and such

    It must have been stray characters in wp-config file as you suggesgted. I rebuilt the file from the sample file and it worked. That was the third reconfigure so I must have repeated mu error the second time. I’m up and running Thank you for your input it narrowed down my search.
