Or how about this instead:
Which cache plugin will NOT break my site?
There is no such thing as a perfect plugin. Any combination of plugins can cause WordPress to behave incorrectly. I’ve seen W3TC run alongside 42 other plugins on a WordPress site before without issue. To blame the plugin for an issue you need to test the issue with on it enabled.
Anyway, do you have any errors in your error log? At this point there is no known bug as you describe.
heya. Everything is fine now, except now I can’t access my dashboard. wpadmin/index.php is totally blank. I have to put in edit.php to get into it, and I can’t access the actual “dashboard” link at all. I would like to make this an official bug report. Do you have a bug report link where I can do that?
The bug submission is in WP Admin (the support tab in the plugin settings), so if you can contact me through my web site I’d like to take a look at your site to investigate the issue.
ok wow. I just logged in and the dashboard was immediately available. I haven’t made any changes so I don’t know what the problem was. Maybe just a WP bug? If it happens again I will definitely let you know.
Thank you for being around to support your plugins. Not all developers are equally accessible. This is a great plugin that reduced my site speed by 75%, so it’s good tp know if there’s a problem you will offer to help instead of me having to uninstall it.
There is still a lot more work to do here. It’s also important that users try to work with plugin developers so that everyone benefits.
Good advice. More developers should follow it. 🙂
Well the advice is for everyone. 🙂
