W3 not correcting “render-blocking java” and not “leverage browser cache.”

    Hi, I have installed, configured, reinstalled, reconfigured W3 multiple times but it does not seem to be increasing my page load efficiency. Google Speed returns 59 mobile/76 desktop with main issues being “render-blocking java” and “leverage browser cache.” Please help me to configure W3 to correct these issues or advise me how to correct them. Thank you.

    Hello tellasia

    Are you using css and js minification? Also, would you please post your htaccess here?

    One more thing, do you use anything to smush your images? I can see google pagespeed mentioned about that too. You can try WP Smush IT plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/
