Visual/text editor

Hi all, I have noticed that Visual and text editor fields are empty – no code here, while in advanced layer editor everything works fine. I have made all website with advanced layer editor, but now I need to change some code in submit buttons and etc, but when I open Visual or text editor – the fields are just empty. I can write and fill them anyway. Is it possible to see/edit a code here?
