Visual Editor Not Working

    The visual editor has not been working for me the past 24 hours. I messed with adding new themes this weekend, and since I am only given the code formatting screen when I try and edit, or post, new messages.

    Any ideas?

    I am also missing my Visual Editor! It disappeared after I installed some plugins so I thought maybe that had something to do with it. I tried deactivating the new plugins but nothing changed with the editor. Anyone know what’s going on? Thanks!

    Nevermind. I seemed to have found other threads that have discussed it. From my prospective here is what went wrong – I changed my “admin” name to my personal name and this screwed up things. I created a second “Editor” user and all was fixed, as long as I post from the “Editor” log-in.

    Oh!! I fixed mine too! I was editing my admin info under Users > Authors & Users and that must have somehow unchecked the “Use the visual editor when writing” box in Users > Your Profile. Phew!! Thanks for the info!

    still same problem for me. I changed my administrator privilages to editor, but my visual editor is still not working.
