Visual Editor: keyboard shortcut to edit selected element?

When editing text trough the Visual Editor I need to move over another element before I can reach the edit icon. But the problem is that when I move over this element, the original element that I was trying to edit loses focus. So it seems impossible for me to translate the text “hi” in this example:

Is there a keyboard shortcut or some other way that I can open the edit dialog on the active element without having to move my cursor to the edit icon?
