    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Sorry, but I think this is a very bad idea. You should not do that. Not only is WordPress 3.4.2 absolutely outdated, but it’s also missing many many bug fixes, enhancements and features.
    Only the also very outdated, incomplete and buggy TablePress version 0.8.1-beta supports this old WordPress version.

    You should seriously consider updating to the latest version of WordPress. If there are issues in the theme, fix them or switch themes. Staying on the old versions is simply not worth the extra work that this brings with it. You would have to live with a constant fear of running into bugs or more severe issues, which will cost much more time and energy than doing the update once.
