Version 2.0.0 now Available!

“Better late than never.” That is definitely the case for Feature a Page Widget 2.0.0. After much delay, the long-awaited new version is here and better than ever!
Highlights of the new version include:
- A much more attractive widget interface for editors. It looks at home in WordPress.
- New options: Hide Title, Image, and Excerpt. Show “Read More.” link.
- The ability to feature Posts and Pages by default. A filter to add other post types.
- New, easier-to-use templating system for developers along with five new filters.
Full documentation of the new templating system and filters is available on my website.
This version has been in use on sites for some time, so hopefully not too many people will experience update issues.
For sites with 1.X.X custom templates
A significant effort was made to support sites using customized templates from v1 of Feature a Page Widget. These templates should continue to work in most cases, but the new templates must be used in order to take advantage of the new widget options. Please update your templates as soon as possible to take advantage of the new features!Support
As always, reasonable free support is offered here in the forums. Please open a new thread if you’re experiencing any issues with the updates.
