    I have just installed your plugin and I am trying to verify my wordpress.org site following using your plugin. I am getting the mess “Not able to verify your property” any advice pls?

    I have just installed your plugin and I am trying to verify my wordpress.org site following using your plugin. I am getting the mess “Not able to verify your property” any advice pls? bec google states that “We couldn’t find the verification meta tag.”
    i have placed it in the area webmaster tools google search console
    Additional info; i use hostgator and tried both chrome and IE
