variants not working

Browsers used: Firefox (older ver. 30.0, which I refuse to update as it actually works right) and IE 11.0.19

When adding variants I get the same issue others seem to have…the price does not update when selecting the variation. It shows “from $xx.xx” no matter the variation I choose.

The ‘buy button’ no longer works either. I can make it work by removing this (with firebug), which is added to the button anchor: ‘disabled=”disabled”‘. However, no matter the variation I pick, it still only shows the original price on the original product page when taken to paypal(which is the highest of the 4 available prices in this example).

How do I get the price to update on the product page? I did see another post a script change but have not tried it…yet. I never tried it before so unlike others I can’t say it worked previously. This however is not a big deal as I can add the price to the variation name I guess. But the disable thing needs to be fixed, and when going to paypal it certainly needs to have the right variation and price.

Currently I have removed the variants from the products and the buy button works fine. My only other option would be to create a new sub-category and list each product with variations as a separate product, which is really no solution.
