vanishing widget

Hi all,

I am currently working on my company’s website and recently lost a rather important widget; email sign-up. I pulled it from the footer and placed it in the available widget section. However, it did not appear there and I can’t find it anywhere! Would anyone out there have an idea as to where it could be? I looked in the inactive widget section, all sidebar links, etc. No good.

Help me, WP friends. You’re my only hope…
