Using updraftplus on multiple sites

    Hello, I’m using updraft on 4 sites. I have enabled the option to upload the files to Google Drive.

    The plugin will upload the backup of all the sites to a single folder on my Google Drive.

    If I want to restore the backup on one site, how it will determine the correct backup files out of all the 4 sites? And how it determines the latest backup?

    Hi,

    Yes, I’m afraid that UpdraftPlus free version stores the backups in a single location on Google Drive. The filename format for backup is Backup_date_sitename_component.zip so you can distinguish the site from which site and date.

    Also, when you attempt to restore a particular backup, it’ll warn you if it’s a backup from another site.
