Using Traction Theme nowadays, does it wrong?

    Hello there,

    Nowadays, I wish to change my theme and I think of using Traction theme on there: http://wordpress.org/themes/traction

    It fits my needs. Footer, Right Sidebar (with ads options) and dark style. Currently I’m using Esplanade theme with a little custom option. This is a good theme, really good but it has really bad sidebar and widget styles.

    Anyway, Traction doesn’t get any update approximately 2.5 years. How does it effect my site? I’m not good at these technical facts. I need some professional or experienced opinions.
