Using graphics for menu items

    My client wants me to use graphics for the menu items. I do not know css and so have no idea how to eliminate the menus on the themes and then put the graphics in as menus. Does anybody have any idea?

    I had also gone to different forums and some of the features they say are there, I do not have e.g. add new template.

    Which Theme are you using would help, as there are different answers for different menus.

    Also are you talking about just normal menu bar and menu item graphics, hover and active?

    I haven’t really decided on a theme yet. It may be twenty-ten.

    The graphics would be menu items and be static.

    This is for a twenty ten child theme, is this the sort of thing?

    The images and css are in the download to practice, you will likely not want the background change, so just from line 14 to 54, and copy the images to the themes images folder.

    You will have to create the images folder in the twenty ten chid theme if you go that route.
