USER ID CODE Not Working.. need help

    THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!

    I cannot figure out a USER ID for my youtube channel.

    The youtube account has just been created- you can see the channel here:

    How do I get the “user ID” ? The instructions given to click the username below the video don’t work- only bring you to the channel page.

    I went into advanced settings and got the Youtube code for the Youtube User ID and entered that into the widget field for “YouTube user id:”

    but it will NOT accept the code. It is looking for a “name” apparently and nothing seems to work.

    why can’t we just enter the user Id code that youtube provides us under advanced account settings? (example see here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3250431?hl=en)

    unless youtube gives me a “real” user ID (custom url i assume that takes time to get) we cant use this plugin apparently (?)

    Hey Guys- can someone please answer this for me?

    I really need to get youtube videos showing on my site again, and the USER ID thing is stopping the whole process..

    Same problem here. I just started getting the “bad request” error today. Doesn’t matter if I enter actual User ID, Channel ID, or custom URL. Everything is borked.

    update the plugin and change the option “Identify by:” to Channel ID or add to shortcode identify_by=”channelid”

    I see this problem with user name
    Error type: “Bad Request”. Error message: “Bad Request” Domain: “usageLimits”. Reason: “keyExpired”.

    Check in YouTube if the id PLfM7t5ptXxYxWdjOy_PZEjkpwXteJwatU belongs to a playlist. Check the FAQ of the plugin or send error messages to support.

    Enter the API key in the plugin, has left a place for entry then will the plugin to work. good luck
