• HI,

I want to create a website that offers free video content in exchange for an email list sign-up.

So I want a plugin that will integrate with Get Response so that when somebody signs-up for the list, they get an automatically generated username and password in response.

    Will S2 Member do this?

If not, does anybody know of anything that will? I don’t care if everbody has the same password and has to use their email address as the login name. I just want free registration in exchange for a sign-up.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Paul

  • Yes, s2Member integrates with GetResponse.

But, if that’s all you want it for, s2Member will be overkill. Why not just use this?

Hmmm… Looks as if it could the trick. I will try it out. Only problem is that it seems that the user then gets the option to sign themselves up and in my ignorance I don’t know if this has any security implications.

Meanwhile, I would still like to hear of any other solutions that might be out there.

    Thanks

By the way, you say that S2 integrates with Get Response, but does that include with Free memberships? From what I have seen of other plugins they tend to only offer automatically generated usernames and passwords with payment gateways.

I have the Pro version, but I believe it does come with the free version.

If you install s2Member, it will be under s2Member -> API/List Servers

    Thanks, I will investigate.
