Use Shortcodes

Hello!

i want to use shortcodes inside the frontpage sections. So, when i enter the shortcode in the customizer, nothing happens.

So i tried in the front-page.php to place the do_shortcode function where i wanted the shortcode to be parsed. Then i can’t access the frontend anymore.

Is there a way to place Shortcodes in the theme?
