Hey there. So I’m not quite sure what you are asking in regards to #1. WooCommerce is a plugin. Any theme that might be compatible can be installed just like you would any other theme.
Regarding #2: You can adjust the way your store will link to product and category pages through the permalinks settings (Settings > Permalinks). I’ve attached a screenshot with the places you would want to make changes below.

Hi.
Thanks for the reply.
Regarding number 1. Woocommerece supply themes. You can either pay for them or get free themes. I was wondering how I get a theme from Woocommerece and then use it on the wordpress site. I know I can download themes to my computer and then upload it to the site (I think), but that is all I know.
Regarding 2). Sorry, but I have no idea what the screenshots are meant to be showing me.
Just to make sure – are you using wordpress.com or a self-hosted version of WordPress. Uploading themes and using WooCommerce is only possible on the latter at the moment.
Hi.
It is a self-hosted version. I can install Woocommerce easy enough, but I just can’t get the links to look normal or get any of the themes to look the way they look in the preview.

The screenshot depicts the location where you can customize the URL’s (in your case, make shorter). And as mentioned above, you can find this by navigating to the permalinks settings under the settings tab on the left sidebar of WordPress backend (Settings > Pemalinks). You will have to look up the various options and what they do as there is much too much for me to try and explain here.
I apologize for the late response but if you still need help, feel free to PM or message me.
