uploading, thumbnails and file extensions

    I’m trying to get the image uploading feature of WP to work, but I’m having some problems. The file itself uploads correctly, but the thumbnail doesn’t get created – I get an error back saying, “Filetype not supported. Thumbnail not created.”

    Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be changed? I looked, but didn’t see anything.
