Upgrading to 2.5

I have not been able to make the upgrade even though I downloaded the files to my computer and unzipped them. Then I went into my web site folder and deleted the two folders as instructed and inserted the 2 new ones.

Also, I added a theme to the appropriate folder but it is not showing up as ‘available’ in my dashboard.

Any help is appreciated.
